What we collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, delivery (or pickup) details, and the items you've ordered, so we can fulfil and communicate with you about your order. If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address for that purpose only.

Payment information

Card payments are processed directly by Square. We never see or store your full card details — they're sent securely from your browser to Square, not through our website's own systems.

How we use your data

We use your details only to process and deliver your order, respond to enquiries, and — if you've opted in — send occasional newsletter updates. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How we store it

Order details are received via our website host, Netlify, and Square's payment platform. Your shopping cart is stored only in your own browser (not on our servers) until you check out.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email kitschandsinkscotland@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use your browser's local storage to remember what's in your basket — this stays on your device and isn't shared with us or anyone else until you check out.
