I'm the maker behind Kitsch & Sink, and everything you see here is made by hand in our family home in Kinross, Scotland.
It began as a hobby. I loved making soap, and I gave it away as gifts to family and friends. It didn't take long for the hobby to outgrow the gifting, and Kitsch & Sink was born.
I'm very design led, so I want everything I make to look good enough to leave out on the side. I also love making things that are practical and smell great, so every product has to be all three.
That's the idea behind everything I make, and it isn't only about soap. Alongside the bars you'll find hand lotions, body butters, oils, balms and clay face masks, all made with the same care over how they look, feel and smell.
Washing your hands or putting on a bit of lotion can feel like a chore. I'd like to turn those little moments into something you actually look forward to.
Everything is made by hand, in small batches, in our family home in Kinross. Soaps are cut individually, so colours, patterns and design placement can vary slightly from the photos. Every bar is a little bit different, and that's part of the charm.
Everything is vegan friendly and made with cruelty-free ingredients and processes. Every item comes with a label listing the ingredients, our contact details and relevant safety information.
Soaps and cleansing bars come in recyclable card boxes with a belly band showing the design, so the bar itself stays protected. Everything else is in reusable or refillable packaging where possible.
Pop your soap on a draining soap dish and let it dry out between uses, and it'll last much longer. Keep everything out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat or cold, and put the lid back on your lotions, oils and balms after each use.
